FITYX — Privacy Policy

In short

You do not need an account. We never ask for your name, email, or phone number.
Links you paste are sent to our server so the media can be fetched, then the file is deleted from our server within 24 hours.
Your download history stays on your device and is never uploaded.
We use Google AdMob for ads and Firebase for analytics — these receive device-level identifiers, not your identity.
Diagnostic and analytics data is kept for at most 12 months.

1. Who we are

FITYX is a media downloading application published by CodeBitMatrix ("we", "us"). This policy explains what the app collects, why, and what you can do about it. It applies to the FITYX Android and iOS apps and to the API service the app talks to.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

Media links. When you paste a link, that URL is sent to our server so we can retrieve the media you asked for. We do not build a profile from these links or associate them with your identity.

Collected automatically

Advertising identifiers. Google AdMob may access your device's advertising ID (Google Advertising ID on Android, IDFA on iOS) to serve and measure ads.
Analytics events. Firebase Analytics records app events such as launches, screen views, and approximate region, along with device model, operating system version, and language.
Server logs. Our API records the request, the requested link, a timestamp, and the IP address the request came from, for security and troubleshooting.
Configuration. Firebase Remote Config delivers settings to the app. It reports the app instance, not you.

Stored only on your device

Your download history (titles, links, thumbnails, timestamps).
App preferences.
Downloaded videos, saved to your device's gallery or Movies folder.

This on-device data is never transmitted to us. Clearing the app's data or uninstalling the app removes it.

What we never collect

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, precise location, photos, camera, microphone, or any account credential for any third-party platform.

3. How we use information

To fetch and deliver the media you request.
To keep the service working, diagnose faults, and prevent abuse.
To display advertising, which is how the app is funded.
To understand aggregate usage so we can improve the app.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Advertising

FITYX shows ads supplied by Google AdMob, including banner, interstitial, app-open, native, and rewarded ads. Rewarded ads are always optional: you are told before one plays and can decline.

Google may use your advertising ID to show ads relevant to you and to measure their performance. How Google handles this data is described in Google's partner policy.

You can limit ad personalisation at any time:

Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Delete advertising ID or Opt out of Ads Personalisation.
iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, and turn off Allow Apps to Request to Track.

5. Analytics

We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used in aggregate — which features are opened, how often the app is launched, and where errors occur. See Firebase's privacy information for details on how that data is processed.

6. How long we keep data

In no case do we retain server-side data about a request for longer than one year.

7. Who we share data with

We share data only with the service providers that make the app work:

Google AdMob — advertising delivery and measurement.
Google Firebase — analytics and remote configuration.
Our hosting provider — operates the servers that process your requests.

We may also disclose information where we are legally required to, or to protect the rights and safety of our users and our service.

8. Third-party platforms and copyright

FITYX is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, or any other platform. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.

You are responsible for how you use the app. Download only content you own or have permission to download, keep to each platform's terms of service, and use downloaded material for personal purposes only. Do not redistribute copyrighted content.

9. Children's privacy

FITYX is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Your choices and rights

Clear local data — clear the app's history, or uninstall the app.
Limit ad tracking — see section 4.
Access or deletion — email us and we will action requests relating to server-side data we hold.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA, including access, correction, deletion, and objecting to processing. Contact us to exercise them.

11. Security

Traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted with HTTPS, and access to our servers is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect the limited data we handle.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app changes. The "Last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version, and material changes will be announced in the app or on our store listing.
